We collect what we need to run your account, make your videos and show your artist page. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads or tracking cookies, and you can download or delete everything from Settings at any time.
Who we are

We are the controller of the personal data described here. For anything about your data, email promise@loudr.studio.
What we collect and why

| You use the Studio | Songs you upload or bring in from Spotify, lyrics, clips, footage choices, videos you export, and what you've used this month | To make your videos and apply your plan's limits | Contract | Until you delete them or your account |
| You set up your artist page | Artist name, photo, links, and your public Spotify profile, releases and covers | To show your public artist page | Contract | Until you change them or delete your account |
| You say yes to tips | Your email and that you said yes | To send you tips on getting your music heard | Consent, which you can withdraw any time | Until you unsubscribe or delete your account |
| A fan signs up on an artist page | The fan's email | So the artist can send them news about their music | Consent of the fan | Until the fan asks to be removed or the artist deletes their account |
| You send a marketing enquiry | Name, email, phone, links, release details, budget and goals | To reply about marketing services | Legitimate interests, then steps toward a contract | 24 months after we last speak |
| You ask for a password reset | Your email and when you asked | To email you a reset link, or so the Loudr team can send you one if the email fails | Contract | Emailed links expire after 1 hour, and links from the team after 24 hours; a request waiting on the team is cleared once used |
| You visit any page | IP address, browser and the pages requested | To keep the service secure, stop abuse and fix problems | Legitimate interests | Rate-limit counters hold a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP for at most a day; server logs are kept for 30 days |
Fans on artist pages
When a fan signs up on an artist page, the artist decides how to use that list, and we hold it for them. If you are a fan and want to come off a list, ask the artist, or email us and we'll remove you.
Who we share it with
- Google Cloud hosts the app and stores your files, in Belgium (europe-west1).
- Google confirms who you are if you choose Continue with Google, and Gmail sends our emails, such as password resets. It only sees your email address and the message for this.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that sign-ups and form sends come from a person, not a bot. It sees your IP address and browser signals for that check. Cloudflare may process data in the US, under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- Spotify, Pexels and Pixabay receive requests from our servers when you look up an artist or search for footage. We send the search, not your personal details.
- Professional advisers, regulators, courts, or anyone who takes over our business, where the law needs it.
Lyric writing runs on our own servers. We don't send your songs to any outside AI service, and we don't use your songs to train AI models.
Cookies and storage on your device
We use one cookie, loudr_sid, to keep you signed in, for up to 30 days. Your browser also remembers a few choices on your device, like your last song and your video settings. These are needed for the parts of the app you asked for, so there's no cookie banner. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own servers.
If an artist adds a Spotify player to their page, that player comes from Spotify and loads in your browser, so Spotify's privacy policy and cookies apply to it.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, move it to another service, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Two of these work straight from Settings: Download gives you a copy of your account, and Delete account removes your account and everything in it. For anything else, email promise@loudr.studio and we'll reply within a month.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd welcome the chance to sort it out first.
Age
You must be 13 or older to make an account. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has an account, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
Passwords are stored only as secure hashes, connections are encrypted, and your files are private to your account unless you put them on your artist page. No system is completely secure, so we can't promise that nothing will ever go wrong, but we'll tell you if a problem affects you.
Changes
We'll post changes here and update the date at the top. If a change matters to how we use your data, we'll tell you in the app before it applies.
